The story begins in the 1990s in Grenoble, France. During that time, Kiko collaborated extensively on labels such as Interface and Ozone Records, working with both French and international artists including The Hacker, Oxia, and Miss Kittin. His vinyl shop quickly became a key hub for the Grenoble scene, a driving force behind the “Made in France” techno movement.
His eclectic discography reveals numerous successes, starting in 1998 with the iconic track “World Cup” on Ozone, reissued in 2014 on the Spanish label Suara. In 2001, he released his first album on Goodlife Records, featuring the single “Monique,” which still resonates on the underground scene, followed by his second album, “Slave of My Mind,” in 2006 on PIAS. In 2010, under the guidance of Plantage 13 and Stephan Bodzin, he launched his new label, “Signature by Kiko,” which became a true dancefloor phenomenon. He later returned to Suara and reached the top of Noir Music’s charts with “Beautiful Place,” ranked by Mixmag among the Top 10 most played tracks at Coachella in 2015. “Living in Space,” produced with Dave Davis and in collaboration with Phoebe Killdeer (the singer known for her work with The Avener), was released in September 2019 to celebrate the 17th anniversary of the Get Physical label.
In 2021, he released “Pancho Villa” with Citizen Kain on AFTERLIFE, the label founded by Tale Of Us, as well as on DIYNAMIC, Solomun’s label. That same year, he collaborated with David Guetta under his Jack Back alias. In 2022, he signed his first EP with POPOF on the Berlin-based label WATERGATE, and marked his first release with Endrik Schroeder on the highly respected Dutch label BODELLO A PARIGI !
In 2025, he marks a new collaboration with David Guetta and releases a new EP on May 30 on Diynamic.
